Condensation can generally be found on cold surfaces such as internal walls, windows, and sills. Problems can also occur in areas of poor circulation such as within wardrobes, behind furniture or curtains, and beneath carpets. These symptoms show themselves as either excessive surface moisture and/or bacterial growth, generally black, although other colours do exist.
Rapid breeding of dust mites is also encouraged in these conditions. Living in these conditions is not conducive to good health, especially for those with respiratory conditions such as allergies, asthma and bronchitis.
